I have not been out since the 14th so when several of the kids we look after came down with a sickness bug including Rob I took advantage and made it to the dip by 1 o clock.I took a reading on the beach of 15 mph but a kiter at the ferry was not going that well so I opted for 8.5 on the carve.I was just going out when David Coles arrived with his formula gear,I had an hour going okay including a trip to the ferry but then the wind went light so I returned to the dip and changed to 9.4 on the longboard as David was going well with big gear.I had another trip to the ferry and out to the shipping channel and a great reach to the Fudgers and a beat back as the winds increased.It was so good I did it again this time reaching to the old windsurfing hut and back.A good 4hrs 14 mins out in the sunshine after so many windless days !!!!
